BEFORE INSTALL

Wash + condition your bundles before installation and allow them to fully air dry. Professional installation is recommended. Avoid cutting the wefts when possible to minimize shedding.

WASH DAY

Wash every 2–3 weeks, or as needed with frequent product use.

  1. Detangle gently from ends to roots.
  2. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  3. Cleanse with sulfate-free shampoo.
  4. Follow with a moisturizing conditioner.
  5. Rinse thoroughly + air dry.

Avoid scrubbing, bunching or aggressively handling the hair while wet.

DAILY CARE

Brush gently from ends upward morning + night. Use a lightweight serum or oil on the mid-lengths and ends as needed. Avoid heavy products and buildup.

Always use heat protectant before styling and limit excessive heat.

AT NIGHT

Detangle and loosely braid or wrap your hair before bed. Protect with a satin bonnet or scarf to reduce friction, frizz and tangling.

SWIMMING + WORKOUTS

Before swimming, wet your hair with clean water and apply a small amount of conditioner. Rinse immediately after swimming and wash + condition as soon as possible.

During workouts, loosely braid or secure your hair to help prevent tangling.

COLOR + HEAT

KX Raw Hair can be professionally colored, bleached, curled and straightened. We recommend using a licensed professional for chemical services.

Always use heat protectant and avoid excessive daily heat.

STORAGE

Before storing, wash and condition your extensions and allow them to dry completely. Never store damp or tangled hair. Keep your bundles in your KX storage bag away from moisture and direct sunlight.
